Titan Rising

Owner: Titan Group

Located at the entrance of the Hewlett-Packard Corporate Call Center and rising 34 feet above the sidewalk this sculpture was commissioned by Artist Greg Reiche. CMYinc. developed the original sketch into a steel profile that supports itself without an internal frame. The piece sits atop a custom-built motorized turntable that continuously rotates at fractional RPM.

Amy Biehl New Mexican Veterans Memorial

ABHS graduate Tara McDonough came to CMYinc. to help develop the memorial from the sketches she had presented to the State Legislature. The result was a triple helix of Stainless Steel and Bronze Stars wrapped with inspirational quotes from important historical figures. The helix consists of over 1,000 feet of Stainless Steel rod drawn over a mandrel to create the form. The Stainless Steel base houses the LED wall washer which creates a light show in millions of colors. The stars on the interior of the piece are ΒΌ" bronze with an applied patina. After being fabricated and tested in shop the piece was then installed by CMYinc.

I-40 and I-25 Interchange - Phase A, C & D

Owner: City of Albuquerque, NM

CMY Inc. collaborated with the artist and landscape architects to design dozens of massive steel, stone and glass sculptures for the largest landscaping project in New Mexico History. The pieces were then engineered, fabricated and installed by CMY Inc. The project spanned four years and was completed in 2010.

Coors and I-40 Pedestrian overpass and 2 large freestanding sculptures

Owner: City of Albuquerque, NM

CMY Inc. was contracted by artist Karen Yank to fabricate and coordinate with the contractor the installation of 14 large scale sculptured relief elements that totaled 750 linear feet. The project involved 11 months of fabrication, work by 4 skilled craftsmen and the cutting of over 6,000 feet of A-242 cor-ten weathering steel and stainless steel plate.

Camino De Suenos Sculpture

Owner: State of New Mexico

CMY Inc. provided drafting, computer modeling, engineering, fabrication and installation of the 30 foot high, 21 ton steel and glass sculpture. All components were shop built and trucked to the installation site. Later, the 3 massive sculptural components were staged and erected in a single day.

Santa Fe Rail Yard

Owner: City of Santa Fe

Located in the Center of Santa Fe this 50 acre site is now populated with multiple rotundas, play grounds, markets and the Rail Runner Train Station. Cmyinc. fabricated, powder coated and installed all structural and decorative elements over a 2 year period. Over 5 miles of stainless steel cable was strung through the canopies of extensive walkways and courtyards. An 80,000 gallon water tank, passenger pavilion and custom handrails are among the many elements completed at the Rail Yard.
